Dr. Curtis Winand – Dentist

"I love being able to educate my patients and help them understand what good oral health is all about, and I’m honoured to be able to work with my hands to help them improve it.” Dr. Curtis Winand attended the University of Alberta, grad class of 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. He completed research projects with the radiology department including topics such as cavity detection and strategies to reduce radiation exposure. Dr. Winand has previously practiced in Edmonton, but having been born in rural Saskatchewan he is thrilled to be able to join North Stony Dental and get a bit out of the city. Dr. Winand believes in a relaxed and humble dental atmosphere with a focus on helping patients understand what has gone wrong with their teeth prior to helping them regain their oral health. Dr. Winand is an active member of the Canadian Dental Association, Alberta Dental Association, and various continuing education organizations that allow him to stay on top of emerging trends and technology."
